 Marsha was an entrepreneur owning several business’s of her own. She was highly revered in the Saginaw, Michigan area for her private Act I Center for the Performing Arts. Marsha was a child talent and showed this talent time and again during her school and college years as well as traveling worldwide entertaining before marrying and settling down in Saginaw, Michigan. It was only a natural extension of her performing career to add teaching to her list of professional endeavors. Her private school, which taught all of the performing arts, solicited exceptional students of the arts in the Saginaw area.
Marsha also owned and operated, with her husband, Don, The Bartley House, a 70 room Resort Hotel, located at Boyne Highlands Golf and Ski Resort in Harbor Springs, Michigan. The Hotel employed 45 staff members year round. Marsha then moved to Arizona for 3 years where she and her husband purchased, renovated, and resold 11 homes in that three year period. Marsha and Don felt it was too far away from friends and family so they returned to the east coast and settled in the Sarasota-Bradenton area of Florida. Marsha has a love of homes, a talent for interior decorating, and is an avid gardener. Therefore, she decided in 1999 to begin her career in Real Estate. Marsha jumped into the real estate business wholeheartedly. Her love of people and new homes just naturally syncopated into a desire to once again share with the public her love of the arts and design. Marsha sold new homes for Homes by Towne, a national builder, Brian Pruett Builders, considered to be the finest builder in the Sarasota-Bradenton area, and Lee Wetherington Homes, known for his excellence in home building and design. She learned well from each of these fine teams. Her experience in the new home market carried her well into the re-sale home market. She has studied new construction, short sales, foreclosures, bankruptcy markets and has achieved much deserved respect in the marketplace. Marsha believes completely in giving people the knowledge she has gained from her experience but prides herself on being a good listener. People know what they want and it is going to be their home. Marsha believes every home has a personality, just like people. Some homes have great personalities and sell quickly, other homes need encouragement before they are ready for purchase.
